  • Overview

    Manage a team in the creation, execution and stewardship of strategic measurement and insights plans/deliverables associated with client campaigns. The Associate Director is a key collaborator both internally and with members of the client and creative agency, as well as a “right-hand” person to the Director of Analytics.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Development

    • Provide analytical insights to help collaborate on media and marketing recommendations
    • Build measurement plan that determines campaign success against client objectives
    • Participate in analytics vendor/product assessments and develop “point-of-views” (POVs), etc on a variety of subjects that pertain to analytical aspects of client business
    • Continuously develop and improve procedures to enforce analytics approach that will lead to more strategic/insightful learnings and recommendations and/or workflow improvements
    • Be proactive: Show interest in constantly learning and growing

     

    Integration

    • Work collaboratively with multiple groups both internally and externally (client and creative agency)
    • Take the lead on working with Strategy and Investment teams
    • Ensure that multiple groups work seamlessly and provide content that informs and supports strategic direction

    • Represent Canvas Worldwide professionally with clients and industry
    • Able to direct team and foster an environment for growth and learning
    • Ensure that deadlines are met, including managing client expectations
    • Promote and open and supportive working environment where opinions, views, and ideas are welcome and shared
    • Ensure the team is informed of broader view of client needs and strategies
    • Willing to get into the “weeds” with direct reports to solve problems
    • Contribute to career development plans for all analytics direct reports
    • Can temporarily cover for Director’s responsibilities in a pinch, if necessary
    • Ultimately responsible for the delivery, accuracy, and quality of analytics insights to clients and team

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 5-10 years of experience in Analytics
    • 5+ years mentoring and developing staff
    • Proven ability to drive projects from start to finish
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate to internal managers and clients
    • Possess a strong and proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility and communicate priorities to direct reports
    • High level proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
    • High level proficiency in data manipulation, through data interfaces and/or SQL-based queries
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to follow through
    • Extremely detail-oriented and precise
    • Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships
