Canvas is seeking a highly motivated SEM Specialist to join a fast-paced account supporting the Supervisor with daily execution of SEM campaigns. In addition to SEM, this role will also work in YouTube video (biddable and IO-based) so the right candidate would ideally have a desire to expand their knowledge of Adwords platforms


  • Manage day-to-day campaign performance and analysis working in tandem with  Supervisor to deliver on client directives
  • Run search reports on a regular basis to mine for new keywords, creative text ad, and overall spend
  • Write initial draft of creative text ads based on briefing materials
  • Traffic, upload, and QA keywords, leveraging the Bid Management Tool process
  • Perform account diagnostic checks
  • Run reports as requested in Bid Management Platform and engine UIs
  • Format reports and set up data for analysis
  • Alert Supervisor of under or overspend, traffic abnormalities, and opportunities
  • Provide optimization recommendations based on spends and pacing for the account
  • Stay on top of the latest updates regarding tools and User Interfaces (AdWords, DoubleClick Search, etc.)
  • Deliver weekly search report
  • Post campaign analysis summary
  • Develops keyword lists and selects landing pages, then submitting for client approval
  • Launch confirmations with client and agency digital team


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years of experience preferably in a media/PR agency
  • Proven ability to drive projects from start to finish
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to follow through
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Possess a strong and proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility and communicate priorities to Supervisor
  • High level proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as planning tools
